OUR MOST IN-DEMAND CLASS IS NOW AVAILABLE for everyone!

Pilobolus was founded fifty years ago by non-dancers who believed that everyone can access creativity and connect with their bodies through movement.

Now, you can take advantage of that expertise to help improve one of the most important aspects of our long-term wellness: your BALANCE. You might not think of it often, but balance is behind everything we do - from dancing onstage to keeping up with kids & grandkids.

Connecting with Balance® is based on a half century of techniques that playfully increase your body’s capacity for mobility, stability and expression - and improves your wellbeing.

We have two options: our in person classes and live classes held over Zoom.

Participant Testimonial:

“I have neuropathy in my feet from chemo many years ago.  I still have it, mild numbness and tingling, BUT after taking multiple sessions of Connecting with Balance®, I can feel the surface under my feet much better, and just generally feel where my body is in space all of the time. I am always amazed at how your relatively simple movements cause my body to work so hard! “

— Zoom participant, Fall 2022

AGE-RELATED LOSS OF BALANCE

Falls are the leading cause of injuries in older adults, and most don’t think about balance until they fall. Improving balance increases independence and quality of life.

RECOVERING FROM INJURIES

Rebuilding balance is an often overlooked but crucial component in recovering from injury. Pilobolus dancers use these exercises to come back from injury.

LIVING A SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE

Too many of us sit all day staring at screens, dissociating from our creativity and body. Reconnect through movement and reawaken your senses.
