JOSEPH FUTRAL, Director of Production, Originally from the south, where he met his wife and where their daughter was born, Joseph brings 25 years of design and production experience to Pilobolus as one of their two directors of production. After working for two years as Pilobolus' lighting supervisor, Joseph is grateful for the opportunity to serve in this new capacity. Previous experience includes working with Charleston Ballet Theatre, Charleston, SC; Spoleto Festival, Charleston, SC; True Colors Theatre, Atlanta, GA; Fred Garbo's Inflatable Theatre Company; Alliance Theatre, Atlanta, GA; Ohio Ballet, Akron, OH; Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Cleveland, OH; and the Off Broadway production of Birth of the Boom at the Tribeca Theatre. He has also worked with Wynton Marsalis and his Septet, Wycliffe Gordon, Sam Bush, and Kansas, and designed lights for numerous corporate events for Yale University, Saab, Bell South, Coca Cola, Buick, Puma, and many, many other arts groups and corporate clients.
